Young people can make a big difference to the future of our planet. We all need to hear their voice – sharing with friends, family and community the issues that matter to them. Watch our Connect2Earth: Youth Action for Nature video featuring Miel de Botton’s song ‘I was given nature’ that inspires and unites youths around the world to take action for our planet – the one home we all share.
Starting out in 2007 as a Sydney-based initiative to raise awareness about climate change, Earth Hour has grown into the world’s largest grassroots environmental movement – inspiring millions of people from all over the world to show how much they care about our environment.
For Earth Hour 2018-2020, we will focus on the urgent need to reverse the loss of nature – encouraging people to start conversations about the loss of nature and play their part in protecting the world around them.
Earth Hour’s greatest strength is the power of people − and we need your help to inspire even more people to take action.
