The Moment is Now video
This film – which we’re calling ‘The Moment is Now’ – features global celebrities Bear Grylls, Shruti Haasan, Pia Wurtzbach, Ben Pol, and Liu Wen, and reveals how small, seemingly insignificant moments in history later created a domino effect that shaped the world as we know it today. The film then reveals that when it comes to our climate and nature crises, moments like these are unfolding right now, and even the smallest actions we take today have the immense power to shape a brighter future for people and the planet. Given the once-in-a-decade opportunity we have at COP15, this film is meant to build momentum and rally the public in the lead-up to this crucial conference for nature at the end of the year.
Team Earth campaign
While football will be heavily influencing the media and social cycles during the World Cup, we want to use the language, style and visuals of football to reach a new audience with our nature messaging. This will be supported by an influencer campaign, whereby notable celebs & influencers both from football/sport as well as other areas will post themselves wearing our #TeamEarth tshirt and highlighting the importance of the decisions being made at COP15.
Biodiversity Awareness Study 2022
The WWF study, funded by the International Climate Initiative (IKI), surveyed 9,228 respondents from across nine countries in biodiversity hotspots, including Brazil, Colombia, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Mexico, Peru, Vietnam and South Africa. The survey aimed to understand the current levels of awareness and attitudes towards biodiversity, willingness to act to protect nature and gauge the level of concern about biodiversity loss. We have provided key assets that highlight the importance of biodiversity and the need for action at CBD COP15.
