Educators can play a crucial role in spreading the message through Earth Hour. Please use this toolkit to inspire your students to take action with our suggested activities.
Starting out in 2007 as a Sydney-based initiative to raise awareness about climate change, Earth Hour has grown into the world’s largest grassroots environmental movement – inspiring millions of people from all over the world to show how much they care about our environment.
For Earth Hour 2018-2020, we will focus on the urgent need to reverse the loss of nature – encouraging people to start conversations about the loss of nature and play their part in protecting the world around them.
Earth Hour’s greatest strength is the power of the people – and we need your help to inspire even more people to take action.
