In view of the ongoing health crisis as a result of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak, the Earth Hour global organising team is recommending for everyone to participate in Earth Hour digitally this year. There are many ways to take part online or at home and show your support for the planet on and around the hour.
Earth Hour has always been a people-led movement. The well being and health of our supporters and staff is our top priority. We stand in solidarity and support of our global communities and encourage all to take part in Earth Hour safely
Educators can play a crucial role in spreading the message about nature and biodiversity through Earth Hour. Every educator knows that students are the future of any nation. Use this toolkit to inspire your students to take action with our suggested activities.
Earth Hour 2018-2021 focuses on the urgent need to reverse the loss of nature, encouraging millions of people to start conversations about the loss of nature and play their part in protecting the world around them.
